Picked this bike up Friday night and took it for a christening ride down to Alice's and then on Stage Road yesterday. I love Stage, maybe my favorite ride, but it's a bit bumpy on my 250. The DR is perfect on it.

It's a 1992 Suzuki DR350S with all of 4,900 miles on it. I'm not sure when I'll dabble in dirt, but the bike is curious...

I see you've got yourself a little dual sport, too. I need to find some local dirt trails, start easy. My only dirt experience so far is riding my dad's '70s Yamaha TT500 up and down the dirt that leads to his house.

If you have no experience in the dirt, I suggest you start of with 4wd jeep trails. Get the feeling of the bike before you get into motorcycle trails that might be over your head.

Also, with dual sport tires, you won't have the same dirt ability as a full knobby, but it all depends on what you end using the bike for a majority of time. Have fun... power slides are a blast on loose dirt roads. :D

Gear up and be prepared to crash... it's all part of riding a dirt bike. Better to learn your limits, and how to react to it, in the dirt than on the street. :)

Nice looking bike. You will love riding on the trails. It's very challenging.
