So, what are you doing the Saturday after Thanksgiving? Sitting in traffic for hours while mall shopping? Wishing your in-laws had stayed at the nearby motel? Spending eight hours checking light strings for bad bulbs?

Alas, never fear as there is an alternative in central Oklahoma on the 28th. I'm scheduling a RTE, along with an optional 6hr mini-rally (no cost to participate). See everyone, with their antlers on, at high Noon!

This sounds like a blast. I am going to see if I can make this happen. If I left a few days early I could get the need to do a saddlesore1000 out of my system with a great ride in OK to boot! Must start planning........

It's less than 1,000 miles direct. You can stretch it out with the mini-rally bonni to get your SS1000. There'll be a few three-digit IBR veterans in attendance to sign your paperwork.

I'll have to check that. Google maps has me at just over 1000 miles, going past Houston then north.
