I sold my Ninja250 about a month ago, and I have been looking for its replacement.. we have about 3 months until it is comfortable riding season (although I rode home about 15miles tonight after buying this!)

It is a 2000 CBR600F4 with about 18K miles on it. It has frame sliders, a Micron pipe (not super loud but has a nice tone) and a rear fender delete kit (not sure of the brand). It is in great shape.. the plastics are in pretty good condition... like I said.. I rode home in the freezing cold.. lots of people were looking at me like I was crazy.. I had my wife following behind me waiting for the "HOLY CRAP I'm freezing let's pull into a Dunkin Donuts" wave... I just kept on going.. the 4cyls are so damn smooth compared to the twins. I was shifting it at like 4000 rpm.. felt a lot like the Ninja so I'm sure commuting to work will be fine.

All in all, I love it.

Congrats, Adam!

Looks like a nice clean example of what I consider excellent bikes! Good choice... though you do know that's the carbed version, right? :D

yeah.. I really love the F4i, but the price increase over an F4 is a decent amount.. I rode this in the cold and it felt great even somewhat cold.. we'll see how she is once riding season is in full swing, so I'm just in time to winterize it up myself.

I'll still more than likely hang out here.. this is a great forum.

Those last carbed F4's are much nicer bikes than the early F4i's anyway; the fuel injection on the i's was quite clunky and took years to get ironed out. Nice bike.

yeah i like the bike too, the only thing i don't like about the f4 or f4i are the big banana seats.

I always liked that red/silver color combo.
