Ducati will be charged with negligent manufacturing! Just kidding!
My guess is they are investigating price gouging during the pandemic like the guy who bought all the hand sanitizer in the state then offered it online for 500% markup. Ducati now has several models that top $30,000--and in America if you get more than $28,000 for a bike it must weigh 800+ lbs and have less than 75 HP (AKA Harley)! Even the 600cc Duc makes more than that and weighs less than half

Sales of Ducatis have been skyrocketing while Harleys have been in downward spiral. I wouldn't doubt Harley probably had something to do with raid. They were behind getting govt to impose tariffs on imported bikes over 750cc back in '80s.
