The premier class had another busy FP3 session, starting with worn tyres but trading it for fresh*rubber shortly after the halfway point of the session, several riders putting in a preventative time attack with 20 minutes left on the clock. Although there were quite a few challengers for the lead, it was once again Fabio Quartararo who dipped into the 1:46s to lead the way at the checkered flag, after a solid long run on used soft rubber. However, Aleix Espargaro put the Aprilia only two hundredths of a second behind, with Joan Mir also pretty impressive in third.
