You know how they say to go where the wind takes you?
That's what I did yesterday. It was fun and relaxing for once. :)
Here's how my loooong full day adventure started..
Just finished the jetting on my bike and dailing in the carb a bit so was itching to take it out for a ride on Monday. (Yesterday) Got a call from a friend to come check out his new hobby so figured what the hey I'll go show him my new bike additions in the process.
I get down there and he has a booth with a big ol fan set up in the garage for blowing glass! (I guess that's what it's called?!) He was making all kinds of crazy stuff like octopus and glass jars and jewelry pendants. It was pretty cool to watch! Kinda dangerous too cause I didn't have any safety goggles.
Here's his booth! Crazy ey? Big ol torch and a marble table and a bunch of glass all over.
Like an episode of Mr. Rodgers when you read one of my ride reports! lol
"OK childrens, lets go see how stuff is made!"

Some of the items he was making from glass. I swear the ninjette snuck into this pic.

So while chatting it up and showing my buddy the bike I told him all the roads I've taken it down lately and I was whining because all the snow and I had nowhere to ride. Well he had somewhere for me to ride instead!
Long story short I took a list of directions and headed south through Riverside, through Gavalan Hills to the 74 and south into Elsinore, then through Elsinore over Ortega Highway I think it was out to San Juan Capistrano at the beach! It was a crazy long ride and took like half the day!
Here's a bunch of pics and video.
Don't rag on me for my bad lines in the second video.. That's the first time I've ever taken that road before. Pretty fun! There's lots more of it too I didn't get on video. Great place to ride when the snow is too low for GMR!
Enjoy the scenery and videos.

Some vids: Bike was running pretty good I'd say but still maybe not perfect.

Try and ignore my bad lines. First time on this road for me. Yadayadayada

Here's how to pass with a ninja 250. Yes I know the pass was pointless (until the next passing section) but I heard someone say you can't pass on this bike at highway speeds. I beg to differ.
