I agree with Mitchell, must resist the urge.

It is hard for Mitchell, he is right down the street from TWS (Texas World Speedway). Plenty of track day events out there.

I plan on attending one there this year (if I can find someone to transport my bike, gas, and tools out there for me). Track days are fun, I have been to one already.

I view it as more of a learning experience than a reason to go WOT on my ninjette. :)

exactly, TWS is right down the road, not even 15 minutes away from me. I just need to get more experience on the bike period, plus i need to save up some funds for the track days.

No better experience than track experience. You don't need to worry about idiots pulling out in front of you. They are strict on safety there. So you would be ok.
