I have been thinking about purchasing a new summer jacket. I do have a Shift jacket that I always wore when it was getting cold out but in the summer it was entirely to hot to wear even with the liner out. (I live in Missouri, 95 degree days + 90% humidity = hell)

So does anyone have any suggestions for a cool summer jacket with lots of ventilation???

Thanks Ethan,

I have a Hein Gerik that I love but unfortunately is no longer made.

My girlfriend has a BWM Airflow jacket that she loves in warm weather:

I'm in Bama so I can relate to those hell days. My summer jacket is a Joe Rocket Phoenix 4.0. I think the current model is the 5.0, However I like the 4.0 better because of the additional sleeve strap at the upper arm. Without the liner it is just mesh and pads, perfect for hell days.

I saw some new leftover Phoenix 4.0s on eBay for $75ish, thats a steal.

I live in the tropics and still wear a real motorcycle jacket. Vanson Air Max (top shelf). They change names a bit, now they're called Vent or Air Vent. It's great for me as I need only the one jacket, the base models are under $200, got mine on sale for $149.
