Hello,

Anyone running the no longer available Yoshimura 2-1 system? I just bought one used and am having some fitment issues.

The header fits great, but I can't figure out where to mount the tabs on the muffler to on the bike. They don't seem to line up anywhere. The one on the bottom isn't even close to anything. Pics are self-explanatory :)

Is this the wrong muffler, or wrong brackets, or both?

After looking at mine I seems I have an extra little metal bracket to mount it to in the rear. Sorry for the quality, took it at night with my phone and a flashlight lol.

Any idea on what the other bracket is for? Does your system have the other bracket?

The other bracket is the stop for the centerstand.

sombo - does your system have a clamp that joins the header & muffler pipes together? Mine did not come with a clamp and I am curious if I need one.

Also, I know it's asking a lot, but if anyone who has this system has a good picture of the bracket I'm missing I would appreciate it, since I'm probably going to have to fabricate one.

Nope, no other bracket. Mine bolts on at the heads and then that one bolt at the rear and no where else. I can see about taking mine apart to get a better shot of it. From the looks of it it's an extremely simple bracket that bolts in to those two bolts for the rear set and adds the open hole for the exhaust to bolt to.
