I'll be at the track day at Thunderhill Park Raceway in Willows California next Monday April 12th. As usual I will have at least one of my 250 Ninjas there to ride. Come on out and ride with me. Matt from Sportisimoto USA told me that he will be stopping by.

There will be an AFM New Race School held at this event. If you've been thinking of getting your racing license this is the place to do it. If you take the school on your 250 there is a good chance that I will be your instructor.

Man I am really hoping the rain stays away. Luckily THILL has its own weather system.

While you were having your fun at T-Hill, I was having mine at Buttonwillow. First time on the BIG track for me and the 09 Ninja. Had lots of fun, especially the last session. Sadly, I was the only 250 on Monday. Although my bro told me that 3 showed up on Tues. Oh well. I guess next time.

We got rained out. I am glad I didn't take the day off of work to go out to the track to ride.

Bummer! :(

I was skeptical about going 'cause forcast was 50% for Sunday, 40% Monday. My bro convinced me to go, being that BW has a micro climate of it's own and told me it would not rain. He got it right, for the most part.

Anyhow, wish you better luck for the next event.

I think Craig was more bummed than me. I live 20 minutes from the track he lives 3 hours away.

Was it actually rained out, as in no riding?

Manimal - I was going to go to that BW event to test out my new '08 but saw the forecasts for thunderstorms and balked at it. Did it rain while you were on track?

Sunday eve (6pm), was coming down pretty heavy and into the night, but when we arrived Monday, the track was dry.
Monday morning only had moments of a light drizzle, but no affect on the track, then turned to partly cloudy for the rest of the day.

From what my bro said and others say, is that when and or forecasted to rain, is that it rains only around the outskirts of the track. BW is weird like that.

Thunderhill has a weird weather pattern as well. I'd explain why it is like that but then I'd just be admitting I am a Nerd. Ryan it was rained out no riding whatsoever.

If you ride a motorcycle you better be!

Seems most tracks have their own weather system! Shannonville is like that - could be beautiful 10 minutes N, S, E or W of the track and miserable at the track. Or vise-versa... weird...
