Do you have to run stock exhaust at Laguna?

I love Willow but have never done the Streets of Willow. Is it as good as the regular track?

That's a lot of questions, right there. LOL

Yes, must have stock exhaust for Laguna Seca.

Streets is great for some people. I hate it.

Lemme know if other questions.

I know Pacific Track Time (PTT) pretty well. It is hands down the best track day provider. If you can find any reason it isn't let me know and I will fix it.

There are noise restrictions at Laguna Seca. Sound is monitored by the track. Many providers require you to run a DOT approved exhaust system. At PTT we don't tech for stock exhaust but we can't let you on the track if your bike is obnoxiously loud. You will get black flagged by the track if you are over sound (92 decibels). The third time you get a black flag you are done for the day. Some aftermarket exhausts with inserts get by. On-the-other-hand some bone stock bikes fail. Intake noise is usually the culprit.

I've run the big track at Willow Springs but like you have never ridden the Streets track. I'm told it is much less of a horsepower track and more fun for little bikes.

I'll be riding a Suzuki 1000 and my son will be on a 600. I've done Willow, Laguna, and Sears in Cali. I'd like to try Thunder and Buttonwillow along with the others I already mentioned.

Richard, not really alot of questions, just which program was good and who to stay away from. Although, I'm basically good on my own at any track.

I've had great experiences with Keigwins and PTT. Less than great experiences with the Track Club. No experience with the others listed. There isn't a bad track that you'd listed, though the streets of willow would be a little snug for a 1k. Thunderhill is a fantastic track. New surface last year, nice layout, fast straights along with a number of challenging corners, and unlimited runoff in most (but not all) directions. Unlike Laguna or Sears, where you really don't want to screw up in some sections to avoid some pretty significant consequences. Buttonwillow can be fun as well, but I prefer THill.

PTT and Keigwins both are well run. Z2 isn't bad either. Run PTT at THILL you'll love it and you'll loose at 20 pounds in a trackday.

I won't be out there until this fall (football season). I'm thinking August to November.
