MotoGP Le Mans France race results – Lorenzo gets second consecutive win

MotoGP Le Mans France race results show Fiat Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo scoring his second consecutive win (http://www.sportrider.com/news/146_1005_motogp_le_mans_france_race_results_lorenzo_gets_second_consecutive_win/index.html)Fiat Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo backed up his victory at Jerez with a resounding win at the Le Mans circuit, passing teammate Valentino Rossi halfway through the race to easily pull away. Rossi realized he didn’t have the pace to stay with Lorenzo, and settled for second, while Repsol Honda teammates Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovisioso sparred for the final podium spot, with both Dovisioso and Ducati Marlboro’s Nicky Hayden slipping past Pedrosa after the Spaniard committed costly mistakes on his final lap. Hayden’s teammate Casey Stoner’s mistake might be even costlier to his title hopes, as the Australian lost the front end and crashed out of the race on the third lap, making the French GP his second DNF out of three races so far. The race was just as forgettable for the Monster Tech 3 Yamaha pairing of Colin Edwards and Ben Spies; Edwards struggled to 12th place, while Spies crashed out on the third lap.
