When I got the tag for my Ninja, I almost asked the lady to issue a different set. The last 3 letters were:

'T U D'

I didn't like the look of it. When I looked a little closer, I saw something else...

'5 T U D'

Free vanity plate from the State of Georgia

Smoke, That is pretty slick! We have a Japaneese woman here who is making me a set of Japaneese script symbols that say "Rice Rocket" They will be two pictographs arranged vertically (nothing very priminant--just subtile) A local sign shop will make me a decal for each side of my upper fairing. The piictograph will be 1.5" for each character (2) arranged vertically. I can just picture a Japaneese tourist--we get lots here--see that on the bike and chuckle. I`ll send a picture when the deed is done.

Here in Ontario you're only allowed 5 characters, I'd get FU COP...but first I need a faster bike.

Where I used to live there was a guy who had a BMW bike and his plate read BMUU.

Uhh... this is probably a fake. Not just because there are no pics, but all non-vanity plates in GA around that time (and probably today as well) fit this format: "CY# ???"
I assume "CY" stands for "cycle."

For example, mine is CY3 TSB (yes, I still have a GA plate), which I received in August 2008 just like the OP. My neighbor, who registered his later that same year, got CY2-something. Another neighbor took his out of storage and it was CY3-something as well. Every one I saw on the road in GA either fit that convention or was a vanity plate or was from another state.

Even if they quit doing that for some reason "5TUD" would certainly be taken. Perhaps it said "CY5 TUD" ("Cycle Stud" :D)!

Got my new Ga plate yesterday and it is YC- ---. What I wanted to order has 7 characters and they allow 6 so no special plate for me.
