Am I the only guy here in the midwest that does trackdays??

I am going to try like hell to get back to Putnam the 14th or 15th in Aug. Work has me traveling on the 13th.

Never been to putnam before sunday.
GREAT TRACK. FAST FAST FAST and flowing. I was driving into, and taking turn one at 90mph.
It would be a GREAT track for a 250 if you dont mind being dusted down the straight. (I was hitting 150 + mph) If there was an S turn in the middle of the straight the 250 would rule that track. So dont be shy about running a 250 there you wont be in the way after the straight.

Now 4 days worth of hauling fuel and its back to the track (Grattan) for a whole weekend of riding.

ANYONE COMING TO GRATTAN THIS WEEKEND??

I don't see anything listed on Grattans website showing a trackday on the 31st/1st. What's going on? I want to try and get a few track days in before the end of the year but I'm waiting for some parts for the track bike. They should be here within the next week so I should be up and ready by then. Now all I need is to figure out how to get the bike there!

Yeah, I missed the post date. HAHA. I'll be at both Michigan STT track days in October. I want to try and get into WERA ESS class next spring and start racing. I guess we will see how it goes. Hope to see you there!

This will be my first track day. I'm sure I will be in the novice grouping.

You might wana take a few trackdays and the pro-school that STT offers before you go racing. Youll get your racing licence after you graduate the pro school. Then your set.

Absolutely! I don't want to be a danger to myself or others. Couple track days this year and early days next year plus at least one racing school before I try any races.
