Just picked up my first bike, a 2004 Ninja 250, back in June. Been doing a little bit of work on it so far and thought I might as well start frequenting the forums while I'm at it and introduce myself.

The bike as I bought it:

And the bike as it looks today:

What I've done so far:
- remove the rear fender, integrate the rear turn signals, fabricate a new license plate bracket & install LED bolts
- install adjustable clutch and brake levers
- trim the front fairing
- flat black the entire bike

I just got a new Buell dual-round headlight and am currently working on fabricating a new mount for it and the gauges, I'll post updated pics when that's done!

Thanks! Trying to do a little at a time but I must say so far it's a vast improvement from stock! :)

Personally, as I own both a ninjette and a Buell "s" model (the one with the dual lights). I will say with complete confidence that compared to the stock Kawi headlight, the Buell headlights SUCK. The headlights are one of the few poor engineering items on the Buell.

Even my Honda scooter has better headlights than my Buell, and I have silverstars in the Buell, and have them rigged so BOTH are on for "high beam". The kawi may not have enough electrical output to run both at once, and they will still be sub par.
