The New Posts link in the nav bar wasn't particularly useful before as it would display tons of the threads created by the newsbot. I've fixed it so posts within the news forum don't count, so that link has become much more useful.

If you've been away from the site for a few days and just want to see what's new since you last got here, just click that New Posts (http://www.ninjette.org/forums/search.php?do=getnew) link in the menu bar and you'll see all new posts/threads since your last visit.

To quickly mark them all as read, you can pull down the "Quick Links" menu on that same menu bar, and choose "Mark Forums Read".

Made the "New Posts" into a pull-down menu, and now users can choose a few options. You can see new posts since your last visit (same as new posts used to work), but now you can also choose all posts in the last day, 2 days, week, etc. You can also quickly bring up all of your own posts, or all of your own threads. Finally, there is a selection right in that pull-down to quickly mark all forums as read.

(all of this only works if you're logged in, if you're viewing as a guest it's still just a simple "today's posts" link that only brings up posts from the last day)
