I installed the Shinto rearset (and as far as I can tell it look like it is a replica of Sato. May be from same manuf).
Anyways with stock rearset I never have prob shifting into first. But with shinto it's hard to get it into first (2nd on is fine). I really have to bang it in. Am I doing something wrong with the installation? Don't have a pic right now but mine looks like the diy here.

this thread may help, its for a sato rearsets install, but like john said, they are essentially the same. also, check paul's youtube page (search thaininjarr) as he has an install video for the rearsets.

Don't think it's the rearset issue. May be I installed it wrong or it's my head.

Figured it out. The damn shifter is hitting the kick stand when shift down to first. Let me figure out to post pic from iPhone.
