Two days ago I went out and bought a used 2005 SV650S, I had no real reason to buy another bike besides that I really like the SVS and I had the money, surprisingly for an 18 year old, so I can keep both. The bike has some parts that I really like but is going to make me miss the twitchy nimbleness of the 250. But the acceleration for getting on the freeway is a lot better. And just to let you guys know that I like this forum too much to leave it even IF I do end up letting the 250 go in the future. Unfortunately I've been super busy with work so I don't have any pictures of it yet but I will post some soon.

funny i read this thread yesterday and today, someone with EXACT same bike was riding behind me in Venice. Either it's a popular model/color combo or I realized it cause I saw this thread.
