Looks to me like the film has been sped up to make him look like he is going faster than he really is but he is still a squid for weaving in and out of traffic like that.

Yes, the video's been sped up significantly. I think traffic is going no more than 50kph (27ish mph) at the fast points, which is why the "weaving" through traffic makes sense..... :p

Not necessarily recommending it, but not saying I'd be able to resist in a similar situation. Heck, I lane-split with a buddy the other day. Traffic was bumper to bumper with a max speed of 7mph and dead stop 90% of the time. We split respectfully at a respectable 12mph or so. It was the biggest rush I've ever gotten going that slow.... :D

Oh, and no, lane-splitting is not legal in CO. Let the flaming begin? :p
