i was pretty much forced to.. the 500 and the 250 were killing me doc gave me orders to quit riding them as i kept having spasms and couldnt even sleep from the pain. when i rode this i didnt feel an ounce of pain other than my jacket choking me to death

it would have been alot cheaper to just change the ergonomics on the 250, but whatever. nice looking triumph.

it wasnt the ergo that killed me it was the constant jerkiness and riding position that was killin me. when i say jerkiness i mean the feeling of the motor topping out @ 70-80mph lol

thanks everyone im extremely happy with it and love not having a carb anymore its so much more convenient! lmao

gotta save up for plastics but one day... one day she'll be brand new again lol. i actually like the nakedness though and the wind isnt bad at all to be honest lol

it wasnt topping out it just felt like it was... it was able to do 100-110 easy but it always had that feeling because the rpm's stayed so high..

I'd love to go to the Dragon. Thinking about going next summer. Don't know if it will happen, but will try to do it. You're quite a bit closer to it than I am. The 250 would be a blast on it, but considering how far I have to ride just to get there, the 650 is a better choice.

You know Chris, lately I feel really stupid... :) I had remembered all the ninja talk, and you getting another bike. But I had thought it was talk from that pensacola forum. Today I was looking around and came across this thread... and thought... yeah Iam stupid.
Have been telling everybody Iam loosing my mind. They say its just old age, its only gonna get worse
