Yep, I was just on his website and noticed he had posted that his shop is currently closed, might reopen for the summer riding season. I've been wanting to replace the euro windscreen I had bought from him sometime ago, and then destroyed in a wreck back in Oct '09, after rebuilding the bike I re-installed the original shield. I may just buy another ZG Double Bubble, but there's also a guy on ebay that's selling ones similar to mike's but they're not as tall.

You're best bet for the time being is to make one yourself. There are a few threads about the DIY process.

Put some plastic spacers and rubber washers to reduce the air pressure difference at speed.

Looks great. Is that the Euro or the Euro GT? Like the idea with the spacers to reduce negitive pressure behind the screen. Did it work?

Just a Euro screen, taller than I thought it would be.. maybe I should have gone with a Euro sport.

I have been out on local jaunts with the new screen.. no sustained highway cruises yet.. so far it does a good job of deflecting the wind off the shoulders/helmet.. if I lay on top of my tank bag, I get to hear near zero wind noise, but much more mechanical noise.

We have identical bikes and I have ordered the exact shield as you have in the pics from Mike. Mine should be in soon ( have waited a month now). I was wondering if you could update me on how it is working for you. BTW I am 6ft 4 with 34 inseam. Thanks.

I am bringing this old thread up in the hopes someone can give us a current review with a lot of miles. Thanks.

I used to have one of Mike's shields on my '04 ninja. I got mine just a few months before he stopped making them. I had the sport shield, which wasn't super tall but was wide. I really liked it.

I ended up selling it to one of the members here. Don't remember who exactly right now, but it was a unique shield for the pre-gen.
