We have a couple of pine trees near my office and one of the entrances to the parking lot is piled high with pine needles. I've never ridden thru needles before, but I went thru it and about dropped the bike. I always slightly lean the bike and come in really slow into the parking lot. The slight lean this time almost ended up with my bike laid out. I goosed the throttle and got the bike under control, but that wasn't fun. I'm using the other entrance until that one is cleared, which probably won't happen for a long time.

Almost did the same a couple years ago on wet pine needles, one foot out, bars crossed up, flat track stye.
