Stefan Bradl continued his form from the final test at Jerez, topping the timesheets in the first session of free practice for the Moto2 class. Rookie and reigning 125cc champion Marc Marquez was as impressive as ever, ending the session in 2nd place, a third of a second behind Bradl, whilst Scott Redding took 3rd spot, a tenth of a second ahead of Thomas Luthi.
