I am wondering what people who put rim tape on their rims did about their wheel weights?

use tape on wheel weights or weights that clip to the center section of the rim if your rim has provisions for it.

nope... use weights with an adhesive backing on them that you stick on the flat part of the rim instead of the sides. see them in the pic I posted?

edit: another pic...

here's a pic of the clip on type in the center of the rim that comes stock on the newgens.

Ah, very nice pictures. I currently have clip on weights that are on the side but I will be getting new tires soonish.. so i will see if the guys that install the tire can put weights on the middle.

if not, provide them with the stick on weights so they can use them if they don't have any.

they are relatively cheap.

he was asking about balancing weights and I was explaining the different types available.

frankly, I can't tell you what type of rims they have on a zzr250.

I was more posting about the wheels themselves (not tire sizes) and if they have that strip in the middle to clip on the weights, like the new gen wheels do.
