Just wanted to throw up some pics of my new ride. Made me a purchase this past weekend. It's a brand new 2010 Ninja ZX-6R. My favorite thing about it... ITS RED! My 250r is also red. After some looking around, they only made the new body style in red in 2010 and I found one. After fighting for a good deal, I brought it home this week! In between rainy days, I have gotten 70 miles on it.
Being kinda easy on it till I get it broke in and get the tires scuffed but it has already pulled my shoulders out of socket twice ;) haha. Keeping it under 10k till I get really used to it. Very impressed with smoothness and throttle response. As far as handling goes, it is incredibly similar to the 250r. Amazing they can make the bike so lightweight. Anyways, working on selling the 250. Many people already interested in it. I have put a bunch of work into it making it look and run how I want it and I don't think I would have been as confident doing the work myself without the help from you all on this forum. From exhaust to K&N pod filter to jetting to LED lights, I read and reread articles on here till I was ready to tear into it. Thanks!

Looking at the 2 next to each other, the 250R has more of an orange tint in it, while the ZX is a deep red. LOVE IT!

I can't tell which is which. They both look like 600's

Great bike, and congrats on finding the color you wanted. I was looking at '09s but I couldn't find any and the '10 was too much for me right now. I hoped to find a leftover '09, but I fell across the '08 I have now, and I gotta say, I absolutely love the damn thing!

I can't even imagine the fun you will have once you break it in! Yours has got a decent engine upgrade over mine, and mine blows me away every single time I pull the throttle. The fact that I don't even notice the weight, despite it being heavier than the 250, is amazing. The thing handles, to use a cliche' that has been said on this board before: telepathically. I can't imagine how well that BPF and 20 pounds less weight on yours feels, when mine feels so right already!
