Not exactly graphic but the guy does crash. Dont look if you dont want to. Its nothing horrible or bloody.
Just another reason I've decided to stick and get a 250. I'm pretty damn sure the bike he is on is no 250 just by size alone.

I don't get why idiot #2 is standing in front of the bike the whole time like he's going to stop it or something.

Might as well stand in front of a newbie with a loaded gun to teach them how to shoot.

Can't tell for 100% certain...but that's either the Honda CBR929 or 954. 1999-2003, because they went to the CBR1000RR for 2004.

I think it's more of a reason not to have friends/family show you how to ride. Just because they know how to ride doesn't mean they know how to teach others how to ride.

Statistics have shown that people who only receive training from family/friends are actually more likely to get in an accident then someone who was completely self taught.

I do however think this was too much bike to start on when learning throttle control.

That's why injury stats are so high... :(

That's the problem people don't get about strating on the big bikes. When it jerks forward unexpectedly for whatever reason, you grip the bars harder because it wants to buck you off backwards. You then yank the throttle WFO in hte process, making the situation go from bad to worse. You may be good 99.9% of the time, but it only takes that one little slip to total the bike and land yourself in the hospital if it loops and slams the old noggin into the ground. Especially if you're not wearing a helmet, cause who needs a helmet in parking lot practice right?

I'm almost positive It's a 954. I've seen this video before and couldn't for the life of me understand why they would try to teach him on a liter bike for his first ever ride. They don't even tell him to stay below a certain rpm.

With friends like that who needs enemies? As stated above there are many things wrong with this scenario... love how they just laugh at him about it... FAIL.

I remember coming home from work one day (in the very early days of starting on my 250) and I was coming up on some railroad tracks. Actually, it was double railroad tracks. I hit the first ones, then there was this dip in between the two tracks. As I hit the dip, it threw my right handle bar down awkwardly fast and I ended up hitting full throttle by accident. I was easily able to recover on the 250, but I instantly thought "wow, if this was a bigger bike I bet that would have sent me flying..."
