What tail bags do you guys use and for what 'purpose'?

When I go to school, I carry a backpack. It has my lunch, books, etc.

However, for leisure rides, I wanna be able to put keys, cellphone, small pocket camcorder, etc. on a tank bag. But, I've started putting a camera mount on the tank.

So I figured I'd get a tail bag, which is actually a good idea since I like to take photos.

I use a Nikon D90, but sometimes a Canon AE-1 (very old metal camera). I wanna be able to bring it with me on certain rides. I don't wanna put it in a backpack and wear it in case I crash so I just put it on the tail and strap it with bungee cords.

It really looks ugly this way (I don't really care as long as I feel safe). The real problem with this is strapping it back on/off. It takes a while.

I'm currently looking for a tail bag that's easily strapped to our 250r that can hold the camera.. and if i'm luckily, my books if the tailbag is big enough.

The kreiga has been my ultimate favorite. Mostly because of versatility and looks. I use it for everything. Books, laptop, lunch, D50 SLR, clothes... not all at the same time of course but I have had combinations of such in it and it really goes on and off quite quickly. Maybe 30 seconds on and 5 seconds off.

Cortech sport tailbag is another i've heard great things about. If I didnt have the kreiga, I'd have gotten the cortech.

I use one of these held on with the included, stow away bungee cords.

I've use it on and off the bike for years. Doubles as a great bag to carry my lunch to work as it doesn't get tipped sideways like a backpack type tail bag would. And as everyone knows, it's all about the food. :hungry:

I have a Givi Monokey E360. I also have a Cortech tribag system that includes a tailbag, but I've found that when used alone (without the saddlebags), the tailbag flops around a bit more than I'm comfortable with.
