I just recently brought myself a new 2010 ZX-6R. It was cheaper then the 2011 seeing as it was a 2010. It was still a brand new bike with zero k's etc.

I had been riding a 2010 250R (same colour). I had a red 2008 but it got stolen and insurance replaced it old for new. I liked my 250 so I don't know why I spur of the moment traded it in on the ZX-6R. I am glad I did after taking delivery on the ZX-6R and riding it home :D

I don't have any performance mods planned, I love it the way it is. I have other mods planned like seat cowl which I just brought from ebay. I want to remove the left hand passenger peg and bracket and modify the right one (brought a 2nd hand one from ebay) to become an exhaust hanger. The registration cost for the bike is half if it's registered as a single seater.

The rim lips polished. I did it to the 250R to break up the black and it looked awesome, a smoked screen and the removal of the orange reflectors this friday.

I am happy I started on the 250 to build the needed riding skills. In hind site I feel things could have come undone had I started on a 600 instead of the 250. I have found going from the 250 to the 600 a new experience.

It didn't come with out extra costs though. The wife said if I want my new bike I had to buy her a new Mitsubishi Lancer. The fact I have my bike means she got her new lancer.

Actually my friend has a 2010 Lancer Ralliart, and if you get that or an evo, well... They certainly do not suck

I know exactly how you feel. I've been riding a friends' cbr600rr and I really know exactly where you're coming from with this. Building the skills on the 250 really makes me appreciate what both the cbr and the 250R can do.

awesome bike:thumbup:
sigh... one day I will have one, although I shouldn't say days more like a few years when I'm done paying on my 250 and get me a nice new car.

I hate that mitsubishi is going through with that. Oh well I guess I won't be buying from them in the future. I guess the WRX and STI were too much competition for mitsubishi.

Yep, I don't care too much for the new impreza's styling (current gen ones too). My personal favorite are the 06-07. Its a shame subaru wants to be so mainstream.

Evo's are amazing cars, base lancer, not so much.

You could say the same about the Subaru 2.5i and the WRX...

Congrats.

Kawasaki must be loving us 250 riders! Moving to the ZX6 or 650 in droves.

Nice bike. You'l be planning mods within the month...I have already started. I removed the left passnger peg and modified the right to become an exhaust hanger. I have already done the polished rim lips and am awaiting on the seat cowl to arrive.
