I have been running panniers on my bike when I do trips. I find that the directional signals are in the way of the panniers. I think that I will relocate them on both sides of the license plate frame. The frame seems solid enough for the task. If needed, in order to stay legal, the reflectors can easily be relocated as well--although I have no plans on relocating them at this time.
