I think it's how the Flip cameras rotate the video when the camera lens is positioned sideways (vertically)

That's weird that the Mino does that. The way the camera is designed and shaped makes me want to hold it vertically with the lens on top but then it turns out that you're supposed to hold it sideways with the lens to the side.

Is there a way to rotate the actual lens itself so that when you hold it vertically, the lens is filming sideways so to speak?
