I picked up a 2011 ZX6R Thursday. Unfortanally I wasn't able to keep my 250. I was trying to find a way to have two bikes, but it wouldn't work out well for me. I got a good deal on this bike, so I am happy with it. :) This thing handles just as good as my 250 did. I'm glad I owned the little ninjette as long as I have. It definitely helped me learn a whole lot.

Very nice!
I was sitting on the exact same bike yesterday. Felt pretty cool!
I liked the shape of the tank.

Yeah, I love they way the bike makes you sit. It's a little more down on the bars than the Honda's I was considering. The seat isn't too bad. The 250 was easier on the a$$ lol. You looking at anther bike??

Nope. I just got my dream bike yesterday after all these years!
Couldn't be happier. I think I am gonna be super lucky and get to keep the ninjette on the side also.
I agree, I'm glad I have the ninja to learn so much with!
Might help me to learn to keep the new bike in one piece longer maybe.

Congrats from a fellow zx6r rider! I just bought my used 07 zx6r about a week ago and I must admit that its more my size (not the engine necessarily but the bike itself). It's a whole new world compared to the ninjette. Enjoy it and ride safe!

I like it a lot better from his pictures.
It didn't look this good in the dealership with the big 1.9% financing sticker in the window =\

I couldn't really get a feel for the looks like that.

They had a black one also. I almost got that one, but I wanted to have kawi's green on my bike, and maybe, just maybe, the green on the bike may let other drivers see me better than an all black bike. I agree it's a whole new world on the 6r compared to the 250. The bike is easier to ride I think. Being bigger, and me being almost 6feet tall, the 250 sometimes felt a tad small.

Totally, the green is nice.
I hear you about being tall on the ninjette. :D I have the same problem.

Another one leaves the fold. :(

Sometimes they come back, though.
I left the 250 club for about 3 years while riding 600, 800, and 1000cc bikes before I saw the error of my ways and returned.

I really love the Kawasaki Supersports, too. I'll probably get a ZX10 one of these days, but don't plan to give up the Ninja.

Awesome bikes...the black zx10r is also sick.

I think solid colour scheme would be better tho?

I agree. I wish they had an all green one. All they had were my color style and a black one, but, half of it was a flat black. I really liked it, but I rather have a bright color.

Congrats on the new machine... they definitely are incredible!!! I rode one during the Ticket to Ride event... I personally found it a little cramped for my 6'2" frame... but other than that it was AMAZING!!!
