oops i dropped it. its so light! i love it, needs work before i can ride it but its on my patio on the stand now. i unloaded it from my truck by myself without much difficulty, got it in the back, went to put it up on the stand by lifting the front up, but i slipped on some wet leaves and dropped it  broke the tail fender. oops! i'll fiberglass it back together later.

it needs all its fluids flushed, brakes bled, cables lubed, new chain and sprockets, shocks need new fluid. its got dirt tires on it right now that should be fine for a little while. its got some rust on the frame where the boots rub, so i'm going to strip it down and refinish the frame and put a rhynolined section where the boots rub. i think i want it black instead of white. also i'm thinking the number plate should be 555 not 777. the seat is pretty screwed up so i'll redo it with new foam and a new cover. its a 96 honda cr250r water cooled 2-stroke. its supposed to have about 45 hp. i'm told it "really rips". the friend i bought it from is a really good mechanic and treated this bike well so i have no doubts about the bike

damnit now i'm going to have to find more forums to lurk. ugh and all the new gear i'm going to buy. i can see my bank account shrinking already. D:

all in all i'm pretty happy. i got a really great deal on it though. it seems like a solid bike, but its been sitting a little bit. i kinda like that though, it's like getting to know the bike before riding it. it's bike foreplay.

Are you going to install a gas gauge on it?

Very very cool! Especially since its so minimalistic in its design and fairings, you can convert it to whatever you want. Given it's got more power and looks easy to mount things, if I had one, I'd of course go the dualsport luggage route. =) Man now I want one too.
