Sold the ninja 250 on a Tuesday and picked up this Daytona 675 on a Thursday. There were a lot of things I was slightly nervous about. The power, the more aggressive seating position, the seat height, and of course the cost of everything... but I didn't care about any of that after my first ride. The 675 is really smooth and it isn't nearly as uncomfortable as I thought it would be once you get moving. :D I am VERY happy with my new ride and that two brothers exhaust sounds wonderful.

Also, I will get better pics up eventually. It needs to stop raining first.

Nice ride. Is that the bike they ran at Daytona (hence Daytona 675)?

Thank you. I'm actually not sure about the name coming from that, but I do know it has been used with a good number of Triumph models like the Daytona 955i, the Daytona 650, and the Triumph T100 Daytona which is a standard they use to make.
Of course... considering your reputation, you could be pulling my leg...

Good luck with it! Out of all the bikes I've owned, I miss my '08 675 the most :(

Thank you for all of the compliments! I'm pretty much in love with the bike and after getting better acquainted with the clutch and throttle today I can say one thing for sure... the ninja 250 prepared me well in the art of riding smoothly. Went from one great bike to another. :)
Btw, here are some good shots I took today since the sun finally decided to come out.

So how tall are you? Any trouble flat footing?

I'm 5'10" with shoes/boots on. I cannot flat foot it, but that's not a big deal to me since I've always used one foot at stops and have really good balance. The bike is also really light for a supersport, so it doesn't take much effort to hold her up with one foot anyway.
