ok my quest for the perfect (for me) slip on continues... I have watched so many videos my head is spinning.

I have ruled out Two Bros, to me it sounds very loud and whiny in addition to everyone and their friggin brother (lolz pun?) has one. Of course the Akrapovic is the front runner at this point (ugh) but I just cant justify spending almost $500 on a silly pipe. I really like the deep rumble, hollow type sound. plus I am cheap... ok not like cheap, cheap more like smart with my money (at least I tell myself this )

I thought I wanted a FMF Apex, sound seemed good, price was fairly good, most reviews seemed ok... but then one review talked about the tinny sound at higher rpm.... BAM! crossed it off the list. oh and it looks like a missle. blah!

What about a Yoshimura? I think I like it mostly cause of the name... kind of how I like Carolina Panthers because of the colors... not a good reason to buy something!!! well wait, reviews are good,...

Decided not to do "Easter Dinner" this year, it seems holiday dinners (except Thanksgiving) are really just a waste of food in our house. I mean, yeah we eat, but all the time spent preparing and then all the leftovers taking up room in the fridge are just a waste.

So Im gonna make spaghetti and cheesy garlic bread for dinner, I know everyone likes it and any leftovers will be eaten.

I ventured out onto the busy roads today to get gas and visit a friend a few miles away to wish her family a Happy Easter and to show off my new bike!

I wake up with a smile of course! We spoke to our friend Steve yesterday and we were gonna just use his truck to go down to pick it up (about 40 min drive) but my husband decided to just go ahead and drive it back for me, so we get a hold of Steve to let him know we wont be borrowing his truck, but will need to borrow a helmet.

We stop by Steve's to pick up the helmet and he just happens to have a size small that doesnt fit him, so he gives this to me and lets my big head husband borrow one of the others lol.

He also decides he is gonna ride his bike down with us so he can ride back with my husband, which is a nice gesture since my husband hasnt owned a bike in 10 years. After he once again asks my husband "why the hell did you let her get a 250?" and throws out the "you're gonna want something bigger in a month" I explain it all to him again and he relents with "ok, ok I guess you have to crawl before you can walk" and we are...

I finally found "MY" ninja... I have been looking for just over a month and was starting to think I would have to end up buying a new one. In fact I even contacted Central Texas Power Sports 2 days ago and offered $4500 OTD, they refused the price stating it would be $5200 or else they would be losing money... (laughable)

So after calling on a number of craigslist postings, scouring the local papers and websites I came across a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250, Candy Thunder Blue w/3100 miles at Dream Machines of Austin for $2995. So Rude (husband) and I venture down to Austin to take a look.

The color actually looks alot nicer in person-in fact it is really cool. I notice a small scratch on the right side fairing and the bottom of the right side turn signal has some minor scratches. To me it appears as if the bike was dropped...
