Mirror weather guards

I installed a pair of automotive mirror weather guards, which I by accident got the clear instead of the smoked. After looking at them and it's been raining all day, so boredom means modification time. This time I removed the clear mirror shields, painted one side satin black, and covered the other in with genuine imitation carbon fiber wrap with non-visible clear coat applied.

Will have to wait til tomorrow to put them back on, and I'm using 3M extreme hold tape.

Update: the mirror wings are still holding thanks to the 3M tape, they seem to work well, I also added blue tint to the mirrors to cut down on the glare and it works great.

Final verdict: a nice cheap and easy modifications.
