    Bike in for Repair

I'm surprised by your comments about the build quality. I owned a 2008 for about 2.5 years, sold it, and then just recently bought a 2011 Ninja 250R.
I have to say that the build quality is not quite as polished as Honda, but not bad.

And now for something completely different! II

Yep! Lots of hard work, it's looking not much better now, i'm rebuilding the engine at the moment. Little jobs like a lick of paint make it look like you've done a lot more than 150 hours of sanding or 100 hours of engine rebuilding.

It's a thankless task for the most part, made woth it 1000x when complete.

Man that looks like a lot of work (then again I've never been around boats/ships before really so I have no idea)

    Bad Place

Yeah, i've given up the pop for a while.

Normally this week I have bank holiday monday, then thursday off as our liberation day from the nazi's, so everyone gets stupidly drunk the whole week, i've decided to buck the trend, but it's depressing!

    Stupid ****ing bike!

They said they put in a new speedo cable, so, nice and essy fix. As a side effect, now I don't have to worry about that noise under heavy acceleration I can enjoy the bike more as it's ment to be rode.

I have fitted my Phillips x-treme vision 100% bulbs, they are excellent! Much better than the existing normal phillips bulbs and with a much extended range.

    Snow Ninja!

Nice, mine was the same on Friday, took a couple of trips out with a warm kettle in each hand to de snow it.

Got some funny looks on the bike, & my Sidi's had zero grip leaving me tottering like one of Essex's finest after a bottle of chardonnay & few vodkas once I got off it!

anything below ~1degC and my FI ninjette struggles to start. I help her along in low temperatures by priming the engine twice (key on, key off, key on) and then holding the throttle at ~4k so she doesn't conk out. After I hear the engine sounds smooth out I can let go of the throttle and she's fine to keep going.

Last winter -- before I knew of that technique -- I had trouble getting her to start and when she did, she would often conk out.
