DIY: CBR 250 Hugger install on 08+ Ninja 250r

Posted April 25th, 2012 at 09:08 PM by Gorilla25

Could not find any real clear DIY for this mod so here is my attempt at it.

Supplies:
CBR Hugger
10mm Socket
Allen wrench from bike tool kit
Something to cut the plastic (Dremel, Saw, Util. Knife)
Zip-ties
Rear Stand (not necessary, but good to have)

Difficulty level (1-5, 5 being hard): 2

Process:
1. Put bike on rear stand
2. Remove Passenger pegs, exhaust, stock chain guard.
3. Make necessary modifications (Cut and drill), shown in pictures below
4. Install Hugger
5. Put bike back together.

NOTE:
The last cuts (on the inside where my rear shock is) is not needed if you have the stock rear shock. Instead, you will need to simply notch a clearance for the chain guard guide/holder.

Here is some pics before modification and installation:

Mesh vs. Textile

Posted March 23rd, 2012 at 03:57 PM by Jimboslice32

What exactly is the difference between mesh and textile jackets? Which one will give more protection, and provide ample ventilation?

Broke professional student trying to ride..

Posted March 19th, 2012 at 03:36 PM by DailyRidden250R

I had a Sachs Madass 125 for a few months and grew into a Ninja. I just sold that Madass. It was sitting in my living room for months. A girl took a look at it and bought it from me!

Anyways. My living room looks so empty..

Mods for a Kawasaki Ninja 250r

Posted March 18th, 2012 at 01:23 PM by Jimboslice32

I'm in the final stages of getting my hands on a Kawasaki Ninja 250r. I am not left to finish saving up the money to buy it. So with that in mind, I've been thinking about mods I want to install. I think I want to start by getting rid of the stock turn signals and installing Flush Mount turn signals, as well as having an LCD taillight. I found a video on you tube that displays exactly what I want. Please watch the video and let me know if you know how to do this! Thank you!
