What exactly is the difference between mesh and textile jackets? Which one will give more protection, and provide ample ventilation?

I'm in the final stages of getting my hands on a Kawasaki Ninja 250r. I am not left to finish saving up the money to buy it. So with that in mind, I've been thinking about mods I want to install. I think I want to start by getting rid of the stock turn signals and installing Flush Mount turn signals, as well as having an LCD taillight.
