Yea, that makes sense. So the bike will start and idle and do the small revving thing and then the engine will choke. Somehow some way by holding a rev at 6-7k for about 30sec changed something...

Skippii, it's always idled that low for 2 years, I don't think it's too low... Even when choke is applied and the idle is raised to 4k any application of the throttle chokes the engine.
