If it's any help,when I fitted some chinese rear sets I had same problem but found by reversing the master cylinder from its original position everything lined up great.Also fitted hydraulic stop...

Wow,thanks for all the ideas - think I may go down the load adjuster route.SWMBO now knows what I want for Xmas.

Hi,after fitting my clip-ons I'm left with the open ended fork stanchions protruding thru the top triple.Any advice on finding/fitting caps to tidy the job up?
