I use a waterless car wash soap on the painted surfaces. It's quick, works well, and leaves a nice shine. If the underside is dirty enough then I'll use a hose.

Eh, it's the same thing for me. I'm 5'6" on a stock 09. I thought it might be a hindrance when I first started riding but it's really not a big deal.

$200 and it comes with an adhesive pad that's slightly curved so it works on my helmet. Another $28 for a 32gig microSD card and I can record for about 3 hours straight....
