it was a good price as it was an '09'. First ride on ER-6n nice power with a nice torque spread. Mods on the way.

Question
Sold it for 2500 with 5500 miles, in showroom condition. It had a FMF slip-on, inter-grated taillight, 15 cs sprocket. Was that a good price?

Parts and Resale Value
Would be my first concerns, a single cylinder 4t can make pretty decent power. Has anyone rode an 2010 Kawasaki KX250F pretty good engine in those.

2010 1st ride
Went out this week had to be careful of all the potholes and gravel! Ninja ran great as always, one thing you or I can't cruise at 10k. Sure the bike can but thats to buzzy for me.

Shifting woes
Synthetic oil helps a ton, but as I have said before the 250R gearbox is not the smoothest. Which is fine as long as it wears well, no woes!

Overall thoughts on 08-09 250R
Great starter bike and with a little work from Kawasaki it could be a bike to keep for a long time, as is most look to sell for faster bikes. List your improvements the factory should have done to...

DB Dawg
Its an insert that I used in my 07 KX450 motocrosser, simply installs in end of exhaust with 2 allen set screws. Lowers db's and only hurts performance a little [upper revs] cost is 30-40 bucks....

gearing
stock is what I would call not user friendly, add 1 tooth to front [15] and each gears breath becomes longer i.e. less shifting and lower rev's. For me this with shimmimg and FMF Apex changed the...
