Kawasaki used to use black as an accent color,...
Kawasaki used to use black as an accent color, but now they're blending it 50/50 with the primary color of the bike. Not sure I like that, but I love the new razors-edge fairing design they're using.

Additionally, it's really bad for the transmission to be shifting while the clutch is not fully disengaging. Get this issue solved before you do too much more riding.
