I haven't had any major issues...a little one... I was riding with my boyfriend and he stopped at a place that I knew I wouldn't be able to stop/or get going again...

I purchased the lowering links that you're talking about.
I haven't used them. I shaved the seat a lot, and now I can tiptoe the bike.
It takes a lot of fore thought and planning strategic...
