I have movement from about 7 o'clock to 5 o' clock (clockwise/anti-closewise)

If i lift the lever ever so slightly and turn it anti-clockwise from about 7 o'clock i can shift...

I can do that, however the clutch doesnt't actually return. So pulling the lever pulls the clutch rod but the clutch doesnt 'pull' back once the lever is released

I managed to remove a little spring that sat around the entire fork seal and that didn't help either.

You don't technically need to remove the fairings...

You don't technically need to remove the fairings to get at the bulbs. You will however need to remove the black thing under the front cowl. From there you can feel your way around and change it.

ugh.. It's a tad difficult. Just spent the better half of the afternoon cleaning out the caliper and draining the brake fluid. Don't want to do that again haha.
