300 in 250 chassis
Our rules next year (MCRA in the mid-west) would seem to allow racing a 250 with a 300 engine installed and then competing against R3s and RC390s. Could be a relatively cheap way to remain in the...

I tried a 120 SC2 on the rear of my 250 and found that the grip was good and stability was fine......for the first 7 or 8 laps, after which it got too hot, as far as I could tell, and...

Midwest Cafe Racing Association (MCRA) allows removal of the air box this year. So does the CMRA (Texas based organization). Not sure about WERA. As was said, some outfits allow it, some don't. ...

Thanks for the quick responses. Not sure how I will proceed, but good to know others have had the same thoughts. I can see how zip ties could pull the filter off, but leaving it hanging on the...

Rear suspension link
Question about the rear suspension link--that link that connects the dog bones to the shock to the frame. I have a 2008 which has a plate steel link. Later models are cast out of aluminum. Does...

Nice video. Nice riding. Looks like you had everyone easily covered. I may end up moving to Texas and hope to compete in E Superstock. Sounds and looks like you guys have a great series going.

I've got a Pireli and Bridgestone take-offs I'd like to see someone get some more use out of. Ran the Bridgestone BT003 RSs 4 weekends and the Pireli Super Corsa front and Diablo Rosso II rear about...

I have a Bridgestone BT003 RS I've used for racing that has a ton of miles left on it, just not quite up to racing any more. I've had it on the track about 4 weekends so it probably has around 600...

Hmmm. I had heard a lot of insurance companies cover your bike if you crash it on a track but not in a timed event, their logic being that they'd prefer you crashed there rather than on the street...
