I should add that we bled the brakes and replaced the pads front and back, as well as replaced the carb float needles- they were rusted beyond salvage and kept causing the bike to flood.

I'm new to the site, but not to bike's in general. Been riding the track for quite a quite a while and although my fiance has expressed interest in street riding...

Incredible that I was able to remove and install the basket 6x and got it wrong every time.

Like flipping a coin and getting heads 6x...

You would think so.. But it's straight forward. Looks just like it does in the clymer manual, every video online, and in other clutches I've worked on.

my bike is acting like the plates arent getting friction, although it ran through the gears fine...

New member from TX - big clutch issues

Hey guys,

I'm a long time rider that just picked up a 99 250 to use as a track/race bike and am having a weird clutch issue. The bike acts like the clutch is never engaged. I'll make a post...
