Did you use a cobalt or HSS bit? That's pretty damn impressive to break the bit like that...the oem screw was pretty soft. Maybe you applied pressure some pressure in the wrong direction?

Sloppy joe must've applied yours at the factory. BTW I recommend using blue loctite and some stainless steel hex bolts for your replacement. Them bar ends are heavy window smashers.

Same problem. Know what it was? A pair of dinky washers in my headlight unit. Didn't look like it came from anywhere nor did it look like it was going to cause any issues so I left em there :thumbup:

Your pictures don't show much other than the fact that you have an acceptable amount of tread remaining. What you should be on the lookout for is side wall cracking - do a google search for old-age...

Check the 4 digit code on the side walls. If it's 4-5 years or has been sitting for some time during the bike's life, it's likely to develop side wall cracking if it hasn't already.

Yup! Looks like Ol'Joe from Assembly was at it again...3 pin connector had the crimp connections in the wrong order. Popped em out and everything's working like a charm.
