sounds like you need to play with the cable adjustments. sometimes it can be a pain when it doesnt want to play nice. but usually pretty straight forward. you know there are two spots to adjust it...

yea it might have been an "E" with a "G" upgrade then wrongly titled as gpx250r II. or could be swapped over into an E frame, from what i was reading G was just an F with dual front brakes so parts...
