Just checked it out... Unfortunately, it would take some sort of adaptor to allow the Koso sensor to screw directly into the thermostat housing. Definately not worth trying to fabricate something....

Yeah, they bend around the inside corner of the fairing, and are stuck on with a weak adhesive.
Once they fall out they won't stick back on.
On my bike, they weren't really contacting the tank...
